Designer's Notes
A wide-format black traditional steel door with a frosted glass panel across the upper half. The wider-than-standard proportions are designed for grand Victorian and Edwardian entrances where standard door widths look undersized.
Heritage & Inspiration
Wide entrance doors with frosted glass tops were a feature of Victorian and Edwardian terraces designed for the prosperous middle class, the frosted glass let light into the hallway while preserving privacy from the street.
